What is the difference between Software Maintenance and Upgrade License?

Software Maintenance is a new product launched in Nov 2011. Software Maintenance is a subscription service, whereas upgrade license is one off. Software Maintenance is bought on a yearly basis and once bought, customer will be protected for all upgrades on any release, as well as enjoying our priority email support.

Upgrade License is for customer who did not subscribe to our software maintenance plan but wanted to upgrade their license to the latest release. The upgrade license price is 50% of the new license price, whereas for Software Maintenance, price is 25% of the license price for the 1st year, then 20% for the 2nd year, and 10% for the 3rd year.
