How to configure AI Assistant with LM Studio?

This article describes how to set up the AI Assistant using LM Studio.

Install LM Studio

 Ensure that LM Studio is installed and running on your system. You can follow the installation instructions from the LM Studio website if you haven't done so.

Configure AI Assistant in Navicat

1. In the menu bar, choose Tools -> Options.
2. Select AI and check Enable AI Assistant.
3. Click + and select LM Studio.
4. Enter the name of the AI Assistant in AI Assistant Name.
5. Enter the host address of your LM Studio server in API Host.
6. Choose the model you want to use.
7. Adjust the randomness of the generated output by AI Assistant in Temperature.
8. Enter the instruction to set the tone and rules for the conversation.
9. Click Test Connection to check the settings.
10. Click OK to save the changes.
