This article describes how to set up the AI ​​Assistant using DeepSeek.

Obtain API Key for DeepSeek

1. Log in the DeepSeek API Platform.
2. Navigate to API Keys.
3. Click Create new API Key.
4. Enter the name of your key and click Create API key.

Configure AI Assistant in Navicat

1. In the menu bar, choose Tools -> Options.
2. Select AI and check Enable AI Assistant.
3. Click + and select DeepSeek.
4. Enter the name of the AI Assistant in AI Assistant Name.
5. Enter the API host address in API Host.
6. Insert the generated key into API Key.
7. Choose the model you want to use.
8. Adjust the randomness of the generated output by AI Assistant in Temperature.
9. Enter the instruction to set the tone and rules for the conversation.
10. Click Test Connection to check the settings.
11. Click OK to save the changes.
