How to configure AI Assistant with ByteDance Doubao?

This article describes how to set up the AI ​​Assistant using ByteDance Doubao.

Obtain API Key for ByteDance Doubao

1. Log in the Volcano Engine Console.
2. Navigate to the "Open Management" section and activate the specific Doubao model you intend to use.
3. Locate "API Key Management" and create a new API key.

Configure AI Assistant in Navicat

1. In the menu bar, choose Tools -> Options.
2. Select AI and check Enable AI Assistant.
3. Click + and select ByteDance Doubao.
4. Enter the name of the AI Assistant in AI Assistant Name.
5. Enter the API host address in API Host.
6. Insert the generated key into API Key.
7. Choose the model ID you want to use.
8. Adjust the randomness of the generated output by AI Assistant in Temperature.
9. Enter the instruction to set the tone and rules for the conversation.
10. Click Test Connection to check the settings.
11. Click OK to save the changes.
