What is the difference between Perpetual License and Subscription?

Please note that each license is per user base and only applicable on a single desktop. But, you can also deploy on one portable or home computer, as long as it is not used at the same time as Navicat on the primary computer.

For Navicat perpetual license, we provide a license key to activate the software. Customer can enjoy minor updates (version 17.1, 17.2, etc.) of the version purchased.

Please note that each license key must be deactivated before you uninstall Navicat. Otherwise, you will receive the "Activation Failed" when you re-activate the license key.

You can use the version you purchased forever. If you'd like to upgrade a major version, you can purchase a software maintenance plan or purchase an upgrade license later.

For the Navicat subscription, customer use their own email to log in to the software. They can enjoy the most up-to-date software during the subscription period and flexible payment. We provide a monthly or yearly subscription plan for customers to choose.
