Live mode retrieves data from your servers whenever the data source is being used or loaded. It offers the convenience of real-time updates, with any changes in the underlying data reflected.
Archive mode retrieves data from your servers during the data source creation, and stored the retrieved data in the workspace for later use by building charts.
