Can I use custom query results as a data source?

Yes. You can add query results to your data source.

To create a new query

1. On the Connections pane, double-click New Data Source Query.

2. Write the statement in the editor. You can also use query builder to build the query visually.

3. Click Save Query.
4. Enter the name of the query and click Save.

To add an existing query

1. On the Connections pane, double-click New Data Source Query.
2. Click Import Query.
3. Select a query.
4. Click Import.
5. Click Save Query.
6. Enter the name of the query and click Save.
