Version 11.0 or below
Method 1:
- In Navicat, right-click your connection and select Connection Properties.
- Under the Advanced tab, enable Use MySQL character set.
Method 2:
- In Navicat, right-click your connection and select Connection Properties.
- Under the Advanced tab, disable Use MySQL character set and choose the correct encoding from the Encoding drop-down list.
Version 11.1 or above
- In Navicat, right-click your connection and select Connection Properties/Edit Connection.
- Under the Advanced tab, choose the correct encoding from the Encoding drop-down list.
macOS
Version 11.0 or below
- In Navicat, control-click your connection and select Connection Properties.
- Under the General/Advanced tab, enable Use MySQL character set and choose the correct encoding from the Encoding drop-down menu.
Version 11.1 or above
- In Navicat, control-click your connection and select Connection Properties/Edit Connection.
- Under the General/Advanced tab, choose the correct encoding from the Encoding drop-down menu.
