Why I cannot see any instances under the Net Service Name when using TNS connection?

Apply OS: Windows, macOS, Linux
Apply Navicat Product: Navicat for Oracle, Navicat Premium
Apply Navicat Version No.: All Windows & macOS versions, Linux version 15 or above
Windows
Please check the OCI library directory set in Options (In the menu bar, choose Tools > Options > OCI / Environment) is correct or not.
If the path is: e.g. c:\client1\BIN\oci.dll
Then, the tnsnames.ora should be located at c:\client1\network\admin\tnsnames.ora or c:\client1\net80\admin\tnsnames.ora
macOS
Please ensure there is a correct tnsnames.ora file inside the TNS_ADMIN path. (In the main bar, choose Navicat XXX > Settings > Environment tab)
Linux
Please check the OCI library directory set in Options (In the menu bar, choose Tools > Options > Environment) is correct or not.
If the path is: e.g. /home/oracle/product/10.2.0/lib/libclntsh.so
Then, the tnsnames.ora should be located at /home/oracle/product/10.2.0/lib/network/admin/tnsnames.ora
