Does Navicat need to be running in order for schedule tasks to work?

Navicat does not need to be running or connecting to the database in order for the schedule backup to work. However, please ensure the password must be saved in Connection window before running your schedule task.

1. In Navicat, right-click your connection and select Edit Connection.
2. Under each tab, enable Save password.
