I received "Cannot open this file for writing" error when importing. Why?

Apply Navicat Product: Navicat for MySQL, Navicat for PostgreSQL, Navicat for Oracle, Navicat for SQL Server, Navicat for MariaDB, Navicat for SQLite, Navicat for MongoDB, Navicat Premium

Apply Navicat Version No.: Version 7 or above

If you receive this error "Cannot open this file for writing: xxx" when you import files, it means that you might have no write permission for it. By default, Navicat will store most of the files under Application folder. To change this save path:

1. In Navicat, control-click your connection and select Connection Properties/Edit Connection.
2. Under General/Advanced tab, change the Settings Save Path/Settings Location.
