How to backup the database structure only?

Apply OS: Windows, macOS, Linux

Apply Navicat Product: All

Apply Navicat Version No.: Version 15 or above

If you wish to backup the database structure, please follow steps below:

1. In the menu bar, choose Tools > Data Transfer.

2. Under Source, specify Connection, Database/Schema.

3. Under Target, choose File and specify the file path for the SQL / script file.

   

4. Click Options, and uncheck Create records under Record Options.

   
5. Click Next.

6. Select the objects you want to backup.

7. Click Start.
8. Click Save Profile to save the settings as a profile for scheduling.
